THE GODHEAD:

We believe in the one true God, who has revealed himself as the eternal existence, I AM existing in three persons, the Father, Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. These three are distinguished but indivisible in existence co-eternal co-existent, co-equal in nature, attributes power and glory (2nd Cor. 13:14, Matthew 28:19, John 14:25 and 1 peter 1:2)

THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED:

The bible is the inspired word of God: a revelation from God to mankind. It is the infallible rule of faith and conduct and as such is above conscience and reason but not contrary to reason (1st Timothy 3:15-17 and 1st Thessalonians 2:13)

ORIGINAL SIN AND FALLEN MAN:

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”. The first man Adam through disobedience fell from the position God had intended for mankind and thus sin and death entered into the world. Adam’s transgression incurred not only death for all but also spiritual death which is eternal separation from God. The resultant depravity of sinful human nature necessitates salvation and redemption from the power of sin, which can only be provided through a saviour the Lord Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:26-31, 2;17 3:6- 24 and Romans 5:5 12)

THE SALVATION OF MAN:

Mankind’s only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin through the shedding of blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12-18 and Romans 10) Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the gift of God and not by works so that no one boats, (Ephesians 2:7-9) The evidence to the new believer of salvation is the inward witness of the holy Spirit. “The Spirit himself beareth witness with our Spirit, that we are children of God”

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST:

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18) In his love for lost humanity he voluntarily gave his own life on the cross as sacrifice for sins and thereby became the saviour of the world (John 2:1-2) We believe that he rose from the dead, appeared to many in the flesh (John 20:16-31) and that when he departed the earth he ascended into Heaven where he remains at the right hand of God the Father interceding for us (Romans 8:34)

THE HOLY SPIRIT:

The fruits of the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in our lives is evidenced by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers and is manifested

through Spiritual gifts. For to one is given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge, by

the same spirit, to another faith, by the same spirit, to another the gift of healing, by the same spirit, to another the working of miracles, by the same spirit, to another prophecy to another discerning of spirits, to another diverse kinds of tongues, to another interpretation of dreams. The Holy Spirit is also our teacher and source of power for life and our service in ministry. (Galatians 5:7-9, 1st Cor.12:1-12, Luke 12:12, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-47, Isaiah 53:4 and

Matthew 18:16-17)

ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH:

Baptism in water. The ordinance of baptism is the symbolic identification of the believer with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48 and Romans 6:4) The Lord’s supper or Holy Communion. The Lord’s supper comprises the elements, the bread and the fruit of the vine. It is the expression of our partaking of the divine nature of the LORD Jesus Christ (2nd peter 1:4) and a memorial of his suffering and death (1st Cor. 11:26) enjoined on all believers until he comes.

THE CHURCH:

The Church is the body of Christ the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit with the divine appointments for the fulfilment of her great commission, His intent being that now through the Church, the manifold of wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in heavenly places. All believers are born of the Holy Spirit and belong to the general assembly and the Church of the first born whose names are written in heaven. The Lord has given a divinely called and scriptural ordained ministry for a two-fold purpose. For a two-fold purpose. The evangelization of the world and the edification of the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22 – 23, Ephesians, 2:22, Ephesians 3: 10, Hebrews 12:23, Acts 1:8 , Matthew 28: 19-20, Ephesians

4:11-13 and Romans 10:14-15)

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST:

The This same Jesus Christ, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (Acts 1:11)

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT:

There will be a final judgement in which the dead Will be raised and will be judged according to their works. Who- so ever is not found written in the book of life shall perish together with the devil and his angels. The beast and the false prophets will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone. Which is the second death (Matthew 25:46, Hebrew 9:27, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:10-15, Revelation 21: 1-27)

THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH:

Nevertheless, according to his promise, we look for the New Heaven and the New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness (2nd peter 3:13 and Revelation 21:1-27).
